In 2002, the Federation continued its close cooperation with the Hong Kong
Clothing Industry Training Authority (CITA) in developing the new Fur Resource Centre in
Hong Kong. The aim of the Centre is to provide a dedicated information source for fashion
designers, design students, fur manufacturers, merchandisers, consumers and the media. A
wide range of fur materials is available, as well as information on manufacturing
techniques, fashion trends, photographs, videos, journals and Internet access to
trade-related web sites. The Centre has become the perfect venue in which to provide
education information on furs to both local and overseas visitors. |
