With an objective to promote the Hong Kong fur industry and the Hong Kong International Fur & Fashion Fair in the emerging markets, nine Board of Directors represented the Hong Kong Fur Federation to carry out a mission in Kiev, Ukraine and Vilnius, Lithuania plus a side trip visiting the fur outlets in Dubai.

During the mission, members met with furriers, representatives of trade associations, governmental officials from trade and industry department and paid visits to Chinese consulates in the above cities.

An official cocktail reception was held in both Kiev and Vilnius. Federation Chairman, Mr. Thomas Wong gave a speech at each occasion stressing Hong Kong fur industry’s strength and proposed to develop closer business relationships with furriers in Eastern European countries.
